James C. Ball Lifetime Achievement Award
Nominations Now Accepted
Nominations for the 2018 James C. Ball Lifetime Achievement Award are now being accepted through April 20, 2018. Nominees must be a current or former Certified Professional Environmental Auditor® (CPEA®) or Certified Process Safety Auditor® (CPSA®) who has made significant contributions to the environmental, health and safety audit profession throughout his or her career. Each nomination must be supported by a detailed explanation as to why the nominee should receive the award.
The Award recipient will be recognized at the EHS Exchange in Washington DC, October 2018, with complimentary event registration, travel to and from the conference, and reasonable and customary costs for meals and lodging. Additionally, a $1,000 donation will be made in the Award recipient’s name, to their selected accredited college or university scholarship fund and their name will be engraved on the perpetual award plaque. The James C. Ball Lifetime Achievement Award, established by the Board of Environmental Health & Safety Certifications® (BEAC®) is a tribute to the memory of James C. Ball, an environmental, health and safety auditor who was an industry leader, board member of the Auditing Round Table, tireless volunteer for the BEAC, and a staunch advocate of EHS certifications and the auditing profession.
