IIA Introduces a Seminar Course That Takes a Deeper Dive into Implementation of COSO’s 2013 Framework

COSO, a U.S.-based organization providing thought leadership and guidance on internal control, enterprise risk management, and fraud deterrence, recently announced an update to the Internal Control – Integrated Framework: 2013 (Framework) which it expects to issue on May 14. View the press release.

As one of the sponsoring organizations of COSO, The IIA is developing resources, tools, and training to help its members implement the 2013 Framework. The first is a new seminar course, COSO 2013: Implementing the Framework, scheduled to debut May 22–23 in Orlando, Fla.

The two-day course is designed to support an organization’s implementation efforts and examines how a principles-based approach can be used to design, implement, and evaluate a system of internal controls. In addition to the Orlando event, the course will be presented 12 more times in 2013 at locations across the United States. View locations and dates for these seminars.
