2018 Women in Internal Audit Leadership Forum Registration Now Open
ARIA Resort & Casino
Las Vegas, Nevada
The IIA is excited to announce the 2018 Women in Internal Audit Leadership (WIL) Forum on March 14, immediately following the GAM (General Audit Management) Conference in Las Vegas.
In its second year, the WIL Forum brings women and men alike together to discuss the importance of having women in internal audit leadership roles and what the necessary steps and attributes are to support them in gaining and maintaining these positions. By combining the WIL Forum with a GAM registration, attendees will reduce total their registration fee by $100. The promotion code to use to receive the savings is 2018GAM100.
This year’s Forum will focus on how to close the gender gap in the internal audit profession, particularly in the more senior ranks. According to the most recent Global Internal Audit Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) report on Women in Internal Auditing, a significant gap still exists.
Attendees will be part of candid discussions that include both women and men on how women can gain and maintain leadership roles through:
- Building strategic relationships with key stakeholders, mentors, and mentees.
- Implementing strategies to increase audit’s impact on the business.
- Demonstrating the value of the audit function.
- Streamlining audit reports.
- Employing effective tactics to manage difficult discussions.
The WIL Forum will include panel discussions; breakout sessions; and networking breaks that will allow attendees to exchange strategies, tools, and resources for successful outcomes; expand their professional network; and enhance their leadership attributes.
Registration is now open, and attendees can earn up to 4.8 CPD/CPEs.
