Blended Learning – New Professional Development Model
To continue empowering internal auditors to become proficient in a given topic and improve job performance by driving real results in their audit roles, The IIA is pleased to announce the launch of Blended Learning, available in select courses.
This new training delivery model combines traditional methods of facilitator-led training with online and on-demand training, giving participants the best of both worlds — the chance to prepare for courses at their own pace, while focusing the training in the classroom on effective, hands-on activities that include the development of tools and best practices that can be used on the job. The Blended Learning model maximizes participants’ time in the classroom where they will concentrate on applying concepts through group exercises and facilitated discussions.
Two new courses Enterprise Risk Management: Elements of the Process and Logging In: Auditing Cybersecurity in an Unsecure World, as well as the recently released COSO Internal Control Certificate follow this blended learning model.
