Internal Audit as Trusted Advisor: Do Women Hold the Key?

In his blog, IIA President and CEO Richard Chambers, CIA, QIAL, CGAP, CCSA, CRMA, shares his personal reflections and insights on the internal audit profession. Here's an excerpt from his latest post:

​I have written on numerous occasions about the progress internal audit is making toward gaining a seat at the management table. I am confident the day is growing closer when internal audit's stakeholders fully recognize the profession's value to the organization and routinely turn to us for our insight and foresight.

Along the way, internal audit will continue to grow, adapt, and change, and one of the keys to successfully managing that transformation will be how well the profession reflects the world around it.
