Financial Services Audit Center to Host Two Online Educational Events
The IIA’s Financial Services Audit Center is sponsoring two online learning events in November:
- Tuesday, Nov. 3, AML and BSA: Overcoming the Challenges is a four-hour virtual symposium occurring in three segments. Topics include: Examining Trends in the Anti-money Laundering Space; Automating AML/BSA Compliance Requirements; and Internal Audit’s Critical Role in the Compliance Process, based on a case study. Registration for this event, worth 4 CPE credits, is open to IIA members at no charge.
- A four-session eWorkshop worth 8 CPE credits beginning Friday, Nov. 6 is now open for registration. Financial Services IT Auditing for Non-IT Auditors will provide a foundation for auditors who need a basic knowledge of IT auditing to understand the general concepts, IT terminology, and how IT auditing is integral to auditing as a whole.
For auditors, risk management professionals, and other specialists who want to learn about these topics and/or require CPE to meet annual requirements, a total of 12 CPE credits can be earned by attending these events. The Financial Services Audit Center is committed to providing high quality, relevant educational topics for professionals in the various sectors of financial services. Additional training opportunities can be found on the Financial Services Audit Center website.
