IIA Rang Opening Bell at New York Stock Exchange

IIA President and CEO Richard Chambers and former Global Chairman Denny Beran had the rare privilege of ringing the Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on June 30 in honor of The IIA’s 75th Anniversary. They were joined at the podium by a number of IIA volunteers and staff. The group was hosted by Jim Byrne, NYSE’s Head of U.S. Listings.

The tradition of the NYSE Opening Bell has become synonymous with business success, and the invitation to have The IIA participate was an affirmation of the NYSE's support for the internal audit profession.
