IIA–Turkey Shares Academic Relations Leading Practices
The IIA has been committed to Academic Relations by providing dedicated staffing and volunteer support. As the profession evolved, so did the needs of the academic community for “internal audit-ready” graduates to enter the business arena and meet the demand for graduates with a reduced learning curve.
One way IIA chapters and institutes can get involved is through the collection and dissemination of individual Leading Practices.
IIA–Turkey made an impressive impact on the academics in attendance at the 2014 International Conference. A committee established within this institute set a goal to be a national solution partner of academic development of the internal auditing profession in Turkey. This presentation demonstrates methods to use educational programming to bridge the gap between CAE and stakeholders’ expectations with professional training and certification available in internal audit.
