New Online Training Explores Application of Critical Thinking Tools to Auditing
Beginning March 1, the American Center for Government Auditing (ACGA) will present Critical Thinking for Auditors. Over the course of eight hours spanning four days, participants will learn the basic concepts of critical and analytical thinking and how to apply the tools to audit planning and fieldwork. The session will focus on decision making, problem solving, and professional judgment on select components of the audit process.
The online training, worth 8 CPE credits, will be facilitated by Mary Beth Saenz, professional trainer and former auditor with experience in internal and external audits for public and private sector entities. Members of ACGA are entitled to a special members-only registration fee for this course that is open to all.
