Public Sector Audit Center Debuts

We are pleased to announce that the American Center for Government Auditing (ACGA) is now the Public Sector Audit Center (PSAC). The name change better reflects the diversity of members the center serves, from school board and city auditors to those providing independent assurance that risk management, governance, and internal control processes are operating effectively within state and federal agencies. The change also will allow more people to access the benefits of being a center member and allow The IIA to bring a more global perspective to issues and opportunities in the public sector worldwide.

Anyone who is currently a member of ACGA will be automatically redirected to the new PSAC website, where they will continue to benefit from low-cost, high-quality professional development; timely, and relevant reporting on trends, benchmarking, and thought leadership; and networking opportunities online and at events.

If you would like to know more about the PSAC, contact center Director John Wszelaki or go to the center’s website.
