Stop Fraud and Abuse in its Tracks

Fraud and abuse can cost organizations millions in terms of lost financial and physical assets. According to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the typical organization loses 5 percent of its annual revenue to fraud.

No organization is safe. Few cases of fraud are even detected, and those that are found may surface after years of aberrant data patterns raise a red flag. Abuse is equally difficult to detect.

The American Center for Government Auditing is offering a two-day, six-hour online training course starting on Dec. 1 for auditors, managers, and employees in fighting and ultimately reducing instances of fraud and abuse.
