Brian Brown and Christopher Pries To Speak at Upcoming Vision University Sessions

Vision University (VU) is a unique educational program for new and aspiring chief audit executives (CAEs) that provides participants with strategies, best practices, and tools to help audit leaders strengthen their teams and inspire peak performance. The IIA is pleased to announce guest speakers for its upcoming Vision University sessions.

Featured Speaker: Brian Brown

Brian Brown is a recognized leader in the internal audit profession with nearly 30 years of experience, including 23 years leading five internal audit functions in both the private and public sectors. He has also provided independent consulting and education services in the areas of internal audit, risk management, and governance.

In 2012, Brown was presented with IIA–Canada’s Arthur Child Distinguished Service in Canada award for contributions to the profession through participation in the activities of IIA–Canada. Over the past 15 years, he has focused on corporate governance, audit committees, and the board director community through ongoing participation in The Directors College and Institute of Corporate Directors in Canada and most recently the Caribbean Governance Training Institute. Brownn currently serves as CAE of the Canadian Grain Commission, and is the former board chair for IIA–Canada.

Christopher Pries is the director of internal audit services at Panduit Corp. in Chicago and has more than 20 years of experience in internal and external audit in the public accounting, manufacturing, corporate real estate services, and consulting services sectors.
