IIA Donates $5,000 to Las Vegas Victims’ Fund

IIA President and CEO Richard Chambers offered words of condolence and paused for a moment of silence Monday before presenting, on behalf of The IIA’s Global Headquarters in Lake Mary, a $5,000 donation to the Las Vegas Victims’ Fund. The check was presented to Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak during The IIA’s All Star Conference being held at The Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Also on stage for the presentation were IIA–Las Vegas President Heath Rude and Chairman of The IIA’s North American Board of Directors Shannon Urban.

Sisolak and Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo created the GoFundMe account on Oct. 2, the day after 58 people were killed and more than 500 wounded in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. The effort has raised more than $11.3 million and is being used to provide critical relief and financial support to victims and their families.
