2021 All Star — Know Before You Go Virtual Experience

We look forward to hosting you at the 2022 All Star Conference virtually! Take a moment to review some key information before the event starts to ensure you have a great conference experience!


What technology do I need to attend this virtual event?

For the best experience, we recommend using a laptop or a desktop computer. You may access this event by using your mobile device; however, you will have limited functionality.

Do I need to download anything to view this virtual event on my mobile device?

You will not need to download an application to view the event on your mobile device. It is recommended to use a laptop or a desktop computer to view the virtual event.

What browsers are supported to watch the 2021 All Star Conference?

What are the system requirements for watching the 2021 All Star Conference?

Run a system check to make sure your device is compatible to watch conference content.

Do pop-up blockers need to be disabled?

Yes, pop-up blockers must be disabled to receive alertness checks.

Can I watch the 2021 All Star Conference through a VPN connection?

VPN can cause unreliable internet speeds and video display issues. Please disconnect from your VPN for the best viewing experience.

How can I prevent connectivity issues?

If you are experiencing problems connecting to the 2021 All Star Conference, it may be due to the configuration of your company’s network. Certain firewall configurations can prevent the communication features from functioning properly. View the details to share with your IT department prior to the event.

Will I be able to participate from my computer and mobile device at the same time?

You may watch via your mobile device or on a PC/Mac browser. Please note that you can only log on through one device at a time or the “Already Logged In” message will display.

Logging In / Access

How will I receive access to the 2021 All Star Conference?

You will receive an email two days prior to the event with the link to access the conference. You will be directed to sign on using your IIA GAN credentials.

What if I do not remember my IIA password?

Please reset your IIA password.

What time zones will be used for virtual sessions?

Sessions will take place in Pacific Standard Time (PST). In the theater, attendees will have the opportunity to customize the time displayed by clicking on the upper right hand corner.

How do I access sessions?

From the top navigation bar, click the Theater tab. The Theater will be your hub to access sessions.

Where can I download presentation resources?

Click the Resources tab, located in the top navigation bar. Here you will be able to download session presentations and additional resources.

Can I download sessions?

No, sessions cannot be downloaded or saved to your computer or device.

What if I miss a session? Can I watch it at a later time?

Yes! The 2021 All Star Conference will have playbacks available until December 10, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Will live sessions be translated?

No, translation will not be available for sessions.

Will there be OnDemand available?

Select sessions will be available via OnDemand at a later date for purchase.

CPE Credits

How do I receive CPE credit during the live virtual event?

You will be required to answer alertness checks during the live session(s) to confirm your attendance and earn NASBA CPE credit. Please ensure pop-up blockers are disabled to receive the alertness checks.

How many CPEs can I earn from the conference?

You can earn up to a total of 16.2 NASBA CPEs for the conference.

When will I receive my NASBA CPE certificate?

NASBA CPE certificates will be emailed to registrants 4-6 weeks upon conclusion of the conference. Certificates will be sent to the email associated with the registrant’s IIA GAN credentials.

Can I receive CPE credit for playback sessions?

Playback sessions are not eligible for NASBA CPE credit, but will be eligible for IIA CPE credit. A self-reporting form will be available to download in the Resource Center.

Important notes on earning CPE credit for playbacks:

  • Only the person registered for the conference is eligible to receive CPE credits.
  • No CPE credits will be awarded retroactively for playbacks previously watched. If you already received credit for a session by attending the live session, you will be ineligible for additional credit.
  • You must attest individually for each playback.
  • You cannot claim more than 16.2 total CPEs for the 2021 All Star Conference.
  • You will need to self-report CPE credits for playbacks. A self-reporting form will be available in the Resource Center. Additional details about self-reporting can be found on the form.

How can I ensure I do not miss important emails pertaining to the 2021 All Star Conference?
