Advanced Process Safety Management

Course Description

Print-friendly Course Description and Outline

This course (previously presented by Auditing Roundtable) is targeted to those who are familiar with Process Safety Management (PSM) regulatory requirements but who now need to conduct PSM audits. The course is designed to help both in-house EHS auditors and third-party auditors understand the requirements of these complex regulations. As part of the course there will be discussions of the regulations, how OSHA has interpreted them, and a review of selected citations issued by OSHA. In addition, there will be class exercises to help understand what you as an auditor will need to do.

The information in this course should be helpful for those who plan to take the examination for certification as a BEAC® Certified Process Safety Auditor™. However, The IIA does not warrant or assure in any way that the information in this course is representative of the examination questions.
