Introduction to Agile Auditing

Course Description

In order to add value to organizations in a technology-driven, ever-shifting, global environment, internal audit and internal auditors must be agile — able to nimbly respond to disruptions and evolving risks faced by the organization. Thankfully, there are specific agile software development methodologies, which when paired with an agile mindset, can support innovations in the internal audit process to achieve sustainable value proposition. This is agile with a big “A”!

Are you ready to learn about Agile software development, and how agile auditing can enhance your internal audit activity and its existing procedures? If so, then you are in the right place.

This course provides participants with an overview of the values and principles of Agile software development, and compares the processes of agile internal auditing to traditional internal auditing methods, such as the waterfall method.
