The last two years have brought critical changes to the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) regulations — including the new Minimum Internal Control Standards (25 CFR Part 543) and  Minimum Technical Standards for Class II Gaming Systems and Equipment (25 CFR Part 547).

The overarching goal of this webinar will be to provide an overview of how the role of the internal auditor is evolving within Indian country, specifically within tribal gaming operations.

Guest speaker will address:

  • The internal auditor’s role in the integration of new regulations (including Parts 543 and 547).
  • How internal auditing can provide more than compliance.
  • What methods tribes are using to successfully expand the scope of internal audits
